Small roadside tent camping area near the southern end of the park. Fairly open area, but sites are well-spaced, somewhat mitigating the lack of privacy. Individual sites have shade shelter, fire ring, etc. but water is shared between multiple sites. Biggest drawback is the distance to restrooms, which are 1/2 mile further south at the Mesquite Campground. This and lack of easy access to trails and other amenities makes Cactus less of a destination in itself and more of a secondary spot if other camping areas are full.
