Have been honest and fairly quick to diognose and repair our vehicles. Prices seem standard. Good to know for our college children living in Canyon. They have dealt with us parents long distance cheerfully and fairly.
This is Laken Tracy. I can not thank Robert enough for the outstanding customer service he showed me today. I'm so very pleased with the work Monkey Wrench did on my car. They diagnosed and fixed it in about 3 hrs. The price was more than fair and he even gave us a ride home to wait. Not having any family close by and a special needs child, I really appreciated that. I highly recommend them and I will be coming back for all my repairs in the future!
I dropped my car off on Tuesday 6/27 after it had started to misfire. I talked to Bruce and let him know what was happening. Bruce was wonderful to deal with. Before leaving, I let him know that I want to see why it was misfiring and let's go ahead and do the spark plugs as well since I had the parts. Now, I'm not upset on how long it took or how much the repair was, but rather how I was treated on day of pick up. I received a call on Thursday 6/29 saying my car was done and so I head over. Upon entering I meet this gentleman named Robert. This is where my experience went downwards. I ask him if it's okay if I start my car and see how it runs before I pay my bill. I get a response "Well it doesn't matter since you used your own parts there is no warranty." I completely understand the no warranty rule, but to say it doesn't matter if my car is fixed before I pay is what makes me upset. So, I head to my car and it was showing the same symptoms of when I brought it in. Robert insists we fixed when clearly my car is still not running correctly and saying there isn't anything they can do. I ask to speak to Bruce, now he assures me he changed the spark plugs and checked to see if it misfires. While Bruce and I are talking, Robert decides to chime into our conversation to tell Bruce he shouldn't waste his time on my car. Now this is where I get really upset. For a employee of an establishment to tell another worker not to waste time on a customers car when I pay for my repairs so you can have a paycheck at the end of the week is astoundingly rude. On top of saying Bruce shouldn't waste his time, he also is finding excuses of why my car is running bad. Now, do you really think I would put a modification on my vehicle so it can be detrimental to the vehicles performance? So, moral of the story is, I will be finding another shop to fix my vehicle due to the horrible customer service I've received from Robert.
I'm on vacation. I'm from out of town. And my car breaks down. But Robert took care of things immediately and got me back on the road fast. I wish there were more places like Monkey Wrench.
