This place has machine weights and free weights. Bring your own earphones and you can watch your own tv as you do your workout. The best thing here is that you can come whenever and at whatever time you want.
Okay, so let me start out by saying this is a good gym!! Little pricey but it'll get the job done. The reason for the 1 star is because the terrible experience I had to go through to break my contract... I had a 2 year contract and YES I totally understand it's a contract and all, but I moved where the closest anytime fitness in an hour and a half away, and it was treated very unfairly. So I broke my contract in May and I thought it was over and done with. Well comes to find out it wasn't. So I was still being charged and noticed it in early September. So I went to anytime and told them what was going on and blah blah blah. Well my account was still active and keep in mind in the last year they've had 4 different people working here. So the last person that worked there she didn't do it right whatsoever and supposedly gave me the wrong paper work and it was just totally screwed up. So this guy Matt I believe his name is if I'm not mistaken, he's a nice guy. But he was telling me that this is literally my fault that it wasn't finished and done correctly. What I dont understand is that how is it my fault?? I literally don't understand it. How am I suppose to know what proper paperwork I have to fillout to properly break my contract? It's mindblowing I would say I'm decently educated and I can't get my mind across on how this is my fault and on top of that he told me that its not his fault because it wasn't him that messed up and its not the company's fault neither. I understand it wasn't physically him yes, but the person who was working there didn't know how to do her job correctly. She works there so she represents that facility/company. Am I right??Anyhow, they're not going to give me a refund that I believe I should get and I'm out 300 to 400 bucks. Yes I understand it's not awhole lot of money, and money comes and goes. But it's all about how the situation was being treated, and needless to say Matt the guy who was supposedly the only person I can talk to about this situation, told me that I'm not the only person he had to do this to... Like how many people have they done this to. But anyways back to Matt telling me he's the only person I can talk to about this situation. I asked him hey can you give me your bosses contact info, it could be a phone number, email anything... You know what he says? No. That he was the only person I can go to and that corporate doesn't handle these situations. Well I know for sure he's not the last resort.. But anyhow this was a horrible experience and I'm not going to step foot in another Anytime fitness again and especially not going to recommend somebody to this gym. Sorry if there grammar errors I'm just pissed off.
I have been a member for over 3 years now at the Anytime in Canyon, Tx and it gets better and better by the day. The members and staff are very friendly, excellent at keeping the weights racked and most importantly keeping the gym clean. I have recommended multiple friends and they also enjoy the gym!
Terrible customer service and terrible management. I contacted the owner with a legitimate concern and never heard a word back. I won't return to this location ever again.
Horrible service, very unprofessional management, overpriced. I will not be conducting business here again.
