My wife and I enjoy craft beers, small breweries, and anything to do with them. I went into this restaurant expecting one thing, but got something completely different. And that is an OK thing. "Taproom" to me suggests beers and burgers. Not here. "Imperial" in the name should have alerted me to expect different..and good. The menu is suggestive of an upscale, fancy restaurant. We tried the tempura vegetables and the Korean bbq skewers. Both were good, although the skewers were a bit tough and more salty than I would have liked. We shared the half chicken, which was very tasty. For dessert we got the Spring, Sprang, Sprung. All I can say is super yummy! Try it. You won't be disappointed. Finally, the service was fantastic..very polite, responsive, and professional. Mike gets a thumbs up. Overall, I recommend this restaurant.
Great new bar and grill (it least I call it that). They usually have 25 different craft beers on tap each week. If you can't find a beer that you like on their menu you probably don't drink much. the food is tasty but a little expensive for the location. The managers are friendly and always willing to talk beer with you. The wait staff is good but mostly college students so if you come in at the start of the semester give them a chance to get their feet under them since they are most likely new.
Discovered a summer pizza
Atmosphere and beers are fantastic, the food on the other hand left us very disappointed. Unfortunately we both left hungry after leaving all but a couple bites of our steak that we tasted on the plate. We ordered dessert to try and make up for it but that wasn't the best either. The waitress politely asked how our food was before we ever had a chance to taste it and never came back again. I came to give it a try after hearing and reading rave reviews, I'm left wondering what all the rave was about.
Great place, friendly with lots of beer selection. Food looks good too!! Beer only available in 12 ounce drafts, but 16 ounce bottles and cans available. Some pretty exotic beer here
