Excellent food! We got there around 1:30 and were seated quickly and asked for drink order quickly. I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich with house chips and an extra side of fried corn. That fried corn is absolutely amazing! Don't let the looks scare you away, it's fantastic. The house chips tasted just like the ones my granny used to make me as a kid, so delicious and nastalgic. The grilled ham and cheese sandwich was also very good, on butter bread with a thick slice of ham and tons of cheese! My fiance and friend both ordered the catfish dinner, one with fries and the other with fried corn. They said the catfish was awesome and so was the coleslaw. I tasted the tartar sauce and it's one of the best ones I've ever tasted and it's homemade. The hush puppies were also homemade and sooooo good! The whole staff was super sweet and friendly and the owner came over and checked on us as well. They begged us to take cake, but we were so full! Next time for sure! This is a great little cafe to eat at, I highly recommend it!
Food is always great, employees are friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic! Any time we have family visit from out of town we take them to KJ's!!
Great people and great food. Bacon cheeseburger and hand cut fries is hard to beat. The BLT is like I make. Breakfast burritos are really good and the green sauce is wonderful.
